Samsung GT-S5233 WI-FI

I bought a new phone last friday and I’m very satisfied with it.  It’s a good replacement for my Samsung U708. Party
I didn’t buy a MicroSD memory card yet because there are no 16GB available. Most probably, I’ll buy one on the next cut-off.

We had a drinking session again at my house last friday with Heart, Alvin, Amber, and Amber’s friend (Forgot his name Big Frown ). We headed straight to the office after the booze session. I’m not drunk but I was so sleepy. Yawn

I went home right after the shift and went to bed early. Sleepy

WALNUT CAKE WITH OLIVE OIL

WALNUT CAKE WITH OLIVE OIL

6 egg yolks
6 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups finely ground walnuts
1 cup plain fine breadcrumbs
2 tsp baking powder
4 tbs olive oil
2 tsp vanilla

Glaze/syrup

2  cups water
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp orange rind
1 tsp vanilla

Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy.  Add vanilla.  In a different bowl whisk egg whites and in a third smaller bowl mix  breadcrumbs with walnuts. Slowly fold part egg whites and part walnut mixture into the egg mixture.  When all mixed put in a  well greased cake pan and bake in a 370  preheated oven for  about 45-50 minutes. .  Remove from the oven and let cool for about 15 minutes.  Make the syrup/glaze by putting all the syrup ingredients in a sauce pan and allow to boil softly for about 5-7 minutes.  Keep the vanilla for last.  Pour syrup over your delicious cake and enjoy every piece.  Did I tell you need to cut the cake in diagonal pieces?  Who decided that?  I have no idea, but this is the way everyone I know around here does it.  You could also stick a piece of clove in the middle of each piece before you dress it with the syrup.

Fresh New Start

I was transferred to a different manager right now. My buddies and I were scattered to different managers because our own manager was on L.O.A. . I have an incentive of $62.00 and I will be receiving it this coming Friday, July 23, 2010.

I already sold my Samsung U700 and I’m going to replace it with another Samsung model and I haven’t decided what model to get. Smile

I’m fond of listening to “General Luna” right now. Bunny

General Luna is an all female rock band and they sound very good.

Check them out!

WTFWJD!

Last friday after our shift, we went to Andhie’s house to attend his one and only son’s 1st birthday. We were surprised that Andhie’s Dad has a big karaoke machine. Cake

We are all enjoying the karaoke while drinking booze at the same time. Cyclops

I’m almost done with all of my credit card debts this last quarter of June. I’m goin’ to buy some new stuff and most probably plan to re-paint my room. Yawn

Getting Cranky!

Scanning Issue with HP Solution Center, HP
Photosmart C309a

First check if the hardware itself is working, print a test page using the front panel display options, and then make a copy of the test page. If the printer can print, scan, and copy stand alone, it means that the printer itself is working fine and it means that this is a software issue. Jump

To resolve this issue, try to reinstall the software and driver using the Software and Driver disc that came in with the printer then make sure that the USB cable is unplugged, after you’re done with the installation, check the HP Solution Center and try to scan a document. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, download the software driver from support.hp.com and install it, and then try scanning a document again. Soldier

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, reformat the computer! hehehe Grin

Starting a new week with a stupid Caller

I started my shift and I received a concern from a HP customer that is so stupid when it comes to computers, printer is working fine, it’s a wireless printer but wireless network is not. Router issue or a Firewall issue is causing the problem and the person doesn’t  know what an IP Address and a MAC Address is,  and he doesn’t know how to disable his own Anti-Virus. Really Pissed

The situation is very annoying because the person keeps on complaining about the printer but it’s not a printer issue. Basically it’s a customer issue, the person is not familiar with the network. Really Pissed

The thing is, you are not goin’ to buy something if you don’t know how to use it or if you’ll be having a hard time using it. Does it make sense? Yes  It’s like buying a car and you don’t know how to drive a car, so you have to learn and be familiar with driving a car. You can’t point your discrepancy to other things, you have to admit that you can’t drive and you have to get somebody to teach you, not blaming other things for your own fault. Chicken

Learning is a non-stop process, along the way we will learn something whether it’s good or bad. All we have to do is to separate the things that will benefit us or not, wrong from right. If you’re gonna buy a computer and you don’t know how to use it and you don’t wanna learn using it, and you want somebody to do some things for you from the computer, what’s the sense of having one? Really Pissed

Spending the whole weekend @ Jame’s Crib

James cooked dinner and served Chop Suey at his crib. I spent the whole day at his house. I brought my hard drive and copied some files to his computer. I fixed his NOD32 AV and cracked his MS Office. Smile
